Ashley Baptiste, MBA, MEd, CSM, RYT-200, is a business strategist with over 12 years of experience in leading projects and cross-functional teams. Ashley has managed a portfolio of projects in the following industries: healthcare, insurance, financial services, technology, and community health. Her work focuses on improving the quality of life for high-stress professionals and the communities they serve.
Ashley is a change agent: she makes project goals her own and uses her skills and expertise to inspire a shared purpose within the project team. She enjoys the organized adrenaline of new challenges and the responsibility of driving business results.
Additionally, Ashley works well under pressure and is comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments. She can readily shift between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each.
She is inspired by the world around her from family, city, and cherished adventures abroad. When she's not blending oils and curating teas to provide WorkPlayZen enthusiasts with luxury holistic living essentials, you can find her whipping up a delicious Caribbean meal for family and friends, practicing yoga.
Ashley is a member of the Scrum Alliance, Project Management Institute, Urban League Young Professionals (ULYP), and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA). She serves on the board of Awaken Pittsburgh, a nonprofit organization committed to helping people, communities, and society through evidence-based meditation and mindfulness programs. She is the past professional development chair of ULYP, past membership chair of NBMBAA Pittsburgh Chapter, and past board member of CARE Ownership.
